Every raw single is listed with its condition on TCGplayer's five-step scale — Near Mint, Lightly Played, Moderately Played, Heavily Played or Damaged — plus its set code and card number, so you can check exactly which printing you're buying.

What to know before you buy singles
Match the number, not just the name
The same Pokémon can appear dozens of times across sets. The set code and number (for example PAL 123) identify one printing; the rarity symbol tells you which version it is.
Condition moves the price more than anything
A Lightly Played copy of a chase card often sells well below Near Mint. Check the listed condition and the photos before you compare prices.
Compare against sold prices
Asking prices online are wishes. Sold listings and TCGplayer's market price show what cards actually go for — our price check tool opens all of them at once.
